NORTH BEND, Ore. (AP) — On Monday, a small business aircraft veered off the runway and ended up in the water in southern Oregon, resulting in injuries for five individuals, according to officials.

The plane departed from the runway in North Bend at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport and ended up in Coos Bay shortly before 6:15 a.m. on Monday, according to an airport statement shared via social media.

The pilot along with four passengers who were aboard the aircraft were saved, transported to a medical facility, and all remained in stable health, according to the airport. On Monday night, the airport reported that two individuals had been discharged from the hospital, one had been readmitted, another was still being assessed, and the fifth individual was moved elsewhere for additional care.

The 2019 Honda HA-420 was retrieved from the water following approval from the National Transportation Safety Board, according to the airport statement.

The aircraft was en route to Oregon from St. George, Utah. The World reported .
